Rutherford County Woodworkers
Welcome. We’re a local woodworking club for all skill levels — beginners learning their first joints through longtime makers who still enjoy a good shop tip.
Legal name: Rutherford Woodworkers Club Inc. (North Carolina nonprofit)
Purpose
Promote the art and craft of woodworking among all skill levels.
Next meeting
- When: 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm
- Where: Rutherford County Administration Building auditorium, 289 Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC
- Note: December is the only month with no meeting.
New faces are welcome. Come listen, ask questions, and see what the club is working on.
In the community
We build handmade wooden toys for Toys for Tots, in partnership with the Marine Corps League. Around November 2025 we delivered about 350 toys; our 2026 goal is 400. Builds often get going around March.
More on outreach — including Christmas Cheer, Helene “Memories in Wood,” little libraries, demos, and wood share — is on the Community page.
